Aivan was a guest performer on the blackboard sessions at our Club meeting on March 10 2006.
The featured Guest Artists were “Tempest” made up of Pat Higgins, Celia Briar and others.
Pat Higgins is an Irish musician living in Wellington. A Galwayman who moved to New Zealand last century, he plays acoustic and traditional songs
accompanied on steel string guitar.
Celia Briar is a Celtic harpist based in Palmerston North, New Zealand, where she is Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at Massey University. Briar is a former All-Ireland champion in traditional harp playing, and has toured internationally, performing at concerts in Britain, Sweden, and the Isle of Man.
